Introduction and verification of patients name and dob
During the patient interview (after verification), talk about
Establish rapport (small talk), ask open ended questions (what brings you in to PT today), be a good listener, don’t lead the witness, acknowledge patient fears/complaints, explain your role and your plan, get consent
