How are DNA fragments modified to ensure transcription?
A
> Promotor region added at the start of the DNA fragment = binding site for RNA polymerase to start transcription
> Terminator Region added at the end of the DNA fragment = detaches RNA polymerase and stops translation

A
> Something that carries the isolated DNA fragment into the host cell, typically a plasmid ( circular loop of DNA separate from the main bacterial genome )
