-easy to analyse data and draw graphs for
-they are easily replicate so reliable

A
-give greater insight and detail on the topic being investigated
-may give a higher rate of responses
-these are harder to analyse and more difficult to graph

Strengths of questionaires
A
-relatively quick and cheap to do
-closed questions gather quantifiable results
-they are standardised therefore more reliable
-they are often online,can access a wider audience

Weakness of questionaires
A
-participants may not understand the question
-closed questions do not gather indepth answers
-participants may not interpret ‘good’ in the same way (scale)
