Listers tubercle is a bony prominence on the distal radius, which seperates the secodna dn third extensory compartments

The subtypes and defintiions of different acute coronary syndrome and manaagement
A
- Unstable angina - Cardiac chest pain + abnormal/normal ECG + normal troponin
- NSTEMI - Cardiac chest pain + abnormal/normal ECG (but not ST-elevation) + raised troponin
- Mx = Aspirin 300mg, GTN spray, morphine/diamorphose, antithrombin therapy
- STEMI - Cardiac chest pain + Persistent ST-elevation/new LBBB (note that there is no need for a troponin in this case).
- Mx = O2 therapy, aspirin 300mg, gtn SPRAY, iv morphine/diamorphine, PCI if present within 12hours pain
- Post MI: Apsirin, beta blcoker, ace inhibitor, high dose statin

How often do ou have ultrasound etc with small, meduium, large aortic aneursysms
A
- If small AAA (3-4.4cm) – offered yearly repeat ultrasound
- If medium AAA (4.5-5.4cm) – offered repeat ultrasound every 3 months
- If large AAA (>5.5cm) – surgery generally recommended.
