A
  • Startup so mixed role
  • Work with clients esp clinicians face to face on pathways
  • Work with product designers and engineers on the pathway
  • Work with informaticians on setting up the informatics
  • Engaged with interviews for positions, formed gap analysis of roles needed and pitched to execs, accepted
  • Led projects on clinical informatics including hiring the necessary staff and proposing a budget and sticking to the budget
  • Presented to execs on gaps in our product and defining the problems encountered
  • Personally also starting up an aesthetics business in my own time also learning MDR

  • Hands on experience at UHB on site, jumping into others’ teams and understanding what their problems actually are (beyond what they tell you their problems are)

– Isinene slow speed + increased cost
- Conflict with CEO asking me to act above my station and question execs

Clinical:
- Depressed patient who had come to rely on fortnightly reviews to assess her mental health, indirectly threatened she may harm herself if she didn’t get them.

How have you used AI in your work?

A

Used it to test clinical blocks.
Attempted to use it for SNOMED coding, wouldnt stop hallucinating answers - key is to understand limits of AI as well
Use it to help me understand complex topics more quickly, follow this up with reading around the topic to ensure good and correct understanding
