Conformance is doing the right thing to attain the right outcome. That sum reducing cost but maintaining or improving quality

Doing the wrong thing thereby incurring extra costs

Cost of conformance is anything that is spent to eliminate waste and improve productivity while cost of non conformance is anything that is spent because of waste or wasteful practices
