‘The maintenance of quality at a level that satisfies the customer & is economical to the producer of seller’
Quality of Communication:
concerns with whether the multimedia package has met its goals in bringing about the correct changes in knowledge, behaviour & attitude in the intended audience. If not, it is unfit for the purpose which it was designed for.
Quality of the Software
concerned with ensuring that there are minimum errors within the programming.
Accurate & Up-to-Date Content:
ensuring that the correct content (text, graphics, sound, video) is provided & data is updated.
Typographical Accuracy & Consistency:
concerned with ensuring that there are no spelling, typographical errors or inconsistencies in the multimedia product. During deadlines, this may be overlooked by publisher.

check materials (planning stage), check process (testing stage), test benchmark & final check.

- customers must be satisfied –> leads to better sales & results
- meet customer demand & expectations
- ^leads to benefits i.e. excellent reputation, building an expanded customer base & increased revenue & market share.
what is leadership in quality control?
- inspiring employees to work towards a common goal
- influence of leadership guides employees to do their best in tasks
- communication, coordination etc.
