A
Study of sources of those variations which are responsibility of laboratory and of procedure used to recognised and minimize them which arise between receipt of specimen and dispatch of reports.

A
Accuracy - Closeness of estimated value to true value.
Precision - Closeness of the test results to each other when the same sample is tested repeatedly.
Sensitivity - Ability of analytical method to detect the lowest possible concentration of analyte in a sample.
Specificity - the ability of an analytical method to determine solely the component it purports to measure.
