Evaluates patterns within a piece of content or multiple pieces of content
What is narrative analysis
analysis of people’s stories to derive meaning
what is discourse analysis
analysis of the use of language in conversation within its social context
what is thematic analysis
identifies key themes, patterns of meaning in a data set- examples experiences, opinions and perspectives
what is grounded theory
create a new theory using the data at hand through a series of “tests” and “revisions”
What is IPA?
understand the personal experiences concerning a major life event, an experience or situation
