EMERGENCY DESCENT
1) power levers -flight idle
2) airspeed-Vmo or 200 KIAS whichever is lower.
3) landing gear-down
4) prop levers-max rpm
APU Fire
1) APU shutoff exting switch-CLOSE
BATTERY OVERHEAT
PWR Select Switch-OFF
ENGINE FAILURE
1) Power Lever-IDLE.
2) Condition Lever-Feather, then Check.
- -in case no feathering is observed–
3) ELEC FEATHERING Switch-ON, then check propeller feathering.
ENGINE FIRE IN FLIGHT
1) Power Lever-FLT IDLE.
2) Condition Lever-Feather, then check.
- —in case no feathering observed——
3) ELEC FEATHER switch-ON, then check prop feathering.
- —after prop feathering, if fire confirmed or warning remains—-
4) Condition Lever-Fuel Cutoff
5) Fire Handle-Squeeze and Pull-do not rotate.
ENGINE FIRE ON THE GROUND
1) Condition Lever-Fuel Cutoff
2) Fire Handle-Squeeze and Pull
3) Extinguisher Agents-Use as required.
4) ATC-notify
FLIGHT WITH ALL ENGINES INOPERATIVE
1) Airspeed—Vfs (bugged)
PROPELLER OVERSPEED
1) Power Lever (affected)–FLT IDLE.
2) Condition Lever (affected)–Feather.
3) Airspeed–Reduce below 200 KIAS.
4) Flaps–15 degrees.
5) Airspeed–125 KIAS minimum.
CABIN FIRE or SMOKE
- Crew oxygen masks—DON-select 100%.
- Recirculation and Gasper Fans—OFF.
- Smoke Goggles—DON.
- Crew Communication—Establish.
ELECTRIC TRIM RUNAWAY
1) Elevator Trim Wheel—HOLD.
2) AP/TRIM/PUSH Disc Switch—PRESS and HOLD.
3) Autopilot Transfer Switch—PRESS
JAMMED AILERON
1) Yoke—HOLD
2) Autopilot—Disengage
3) Aileron Disconnect—Squeeze and Pull
JAMMED ELEVATOR
1) Yoke—HOLD
2) Autopilot—Disengage
3) Elevator Disconnect—Squeeze and Pull
WINDSHIELD OVERHEAT
1) Respective windshield heat—OFF
PASSENGER EVACUATION
1) Parking Brake—Apply
2) ATC—Notify
3) Engines and APU—Shutdown
4) Fire Handles—Pull
5) Extinguishing Agents—Use as required
6) Emergency Lights—ON
7) Evacuation—Initiate
8) Backup Battery/Power select switch—OFF
RAPID DECOMPRESSION
1) Don oxygen masks.
2) Establish crew communication.
