Describe (General):
Usually caused by Spleen Qi deficiency. When Blood becomes deficient, the Heart and Liver are affected.

Liver Blood Deficiency (Symptoms):
Cramps, numbness; dry hair; blurred vision, floaters; Dry or brittle nails; insomnia and excessive dreaming; scanty periods or no periods

Palpitations; insomnia; mild anxiety; poor memory; dizziness; dull-pale complexion

Poor appetite; tiredness; dull-pale complexion; weakness of the limbs; loose stools; thin body; pale lips

Tongue: Pale and possibly slightly dry. The tongue will be thin in severe cases

Description (General):
Blood stagnation is where the normal flow of the blood has become obstructed. Stagnant blood can occur in the channels (usually due to trauma), or in the internal Zang Fu Organs, mainly the Liver, Heart, Uterus, Intestines, or Stomach. Heat in the blood also eventually causes blood to stagnate/congeal as does internal cold

Stabbing fixed pain; dark complexion; purple lips and nails; dark blood and clots if there is bleeding

Abnormal function of the organs, not producing Jin Ye, external pathogenic heat, loss of blood, chronic blood deficiency, vomiting, diarrhea, excessive urination and sweating, incorrect treatment, old age, weak and deficient constitution

Dry mouth, throat, lips, nose, eyes, skin, emaciation, irritability, thirst, dry cough, hoarse voice, scanty and dark urination, dry stools
