What are the steps for setting up head and neck patient?

A
  1. Identification and consent (ask if patient has recently been to dentist)
  2. Inform them of procedure and mask
  3. Take out dentures (if applicable)
  4. Take earrings/necklace and shirt (make sure collar is tucked in as a bare minimum)
  5. Patient positioning and immobilisation
  6. Make mouthpiece (if applicable)
  7. Make shell
  8. Put marks on shell- anterior and lateral
