Q

Define modernity

A

Modernity has been associated with the spread of capitalism, the decline of empires, and the development of international organizations and norms.

We must remember that modernity is a very Eurocentric concept. The concept of modernity monopolizes and universalizes its own ways of thinking, erasing and exploiting others through forms of modern power.
