A Radiology Information System, helps the technician decide the correct positioning of the patient and ensures image quality.

Patient-centered care, a process where the physician actively partners w/ the patient on medical decision making.
How does an EHR (Electronic Health Record) benefit the medication side of patient care?
It Improves patient verification with prescribed medication

It Allows all physicians caring for a patient to access the same data

MPI (Master Patient Index) Serves as a master directory for every single patient that has ever visited the hospital or healthcare organization. Similar to the R-ADT but for the whole organization, not just department.
If the leaders at a HCO, need to look at trends and make projections/decisions for the future what system should be used and why?
EIS (Executive Information System) a dashboard containing multiple charts/graphs of other reports that show trending info so high level decisions can be made i.e Tableau
What is CDS and how does it improve quality of care?
CDS (Clinical Decision Support tools) are electronic alerts, reminders, cliff notes etc. that are patient specific to improve efficiency in healthcare delivery.
What are some benefits of the hospital’s birth certificate system?
Birth demographic info can be sent electronically instead of mailed (like before). Social security request can be initiated, parents can place orders for copies, proof of birth can be printed.
