A
Occurs in neurosyphilis and DM

What features are associated with Argyll-Roberson pupil?
A
Small, irregular pupils (bilateral miosis)
No response to light
There is a response to accommodate
(Argyll-Robertson Pupil = Accommodation Reflex Present, but pupillary reflex absent)
Prostitute’s pupil: accommodates but does not react

What is a Tonic (Adie) pupil?
A
Lack of parasympathetic innervation - resulting in poor constriction to light
Initially monolateral then bilateral pupil dilatation with delayed responses to near vision effort
