What is it a disorder of?
A
Conjugate lateral gaze ie motion of eyes both in same direction

What impairment does the affected eye show?
A
Impairment of adduction when attempt to gaze contralaterally (relative to the affected eye)
The contralateral eye abducts with nystagmus

What does the divergence of the eyes lead to?
A
Horizontal diplopia

What causes it?
A
Injury of dysfunction in the medial longitudinal fasiculus MLF

Is the MLF heavily myelinated or not?
A
Yes it is heavily myelinated
