What is a pumped storage system?

It is when water is at a high level then comes down to the lower reservoir and turns the turbines to produce electricity

Give an advantage for using pumped storage system
A
Can start very quick and can get electricity fast.

What happens at the lower water end?
A
It can pump water back up to the top and at the top that is where energy is stored. Happens at about 4:00
