Generating Electricity Flashcards

1
Q

What are the 4 processes in order to generate electricity?

A

Coal used as the chill energy is burnt creating steam which will produce heat energy then that will drive the turbine which uses kinetic energy to produce electrical energy from the generator

Q

What is nuclear fission?

A

You take the nucleus of the two atoms then split them into two smaller nuclei which produces a lot of energy which terns water into steam ect.
