Temporal
Over the temple just in front of the ear
Facial
At the angle of the mandible (lower jaw) where the facial artery crosses
Carotid
in the neck, between the strenocleidomastoid muscle and trachea (used during CPR)
Axillary
deep in the armpit (difficult to palpate)
Brachial
Medial (inner) aspect of upper arm, between biceps and triceps - especially used in infants <1 during CPR
Radial
Thumb side of the wrist (most commonly used in adults)
Ulnar
pinky side of the wrist (less commonly used)
Femoral
in the groin, halfway between the pubic symphysis and anterior superior iliac spine
popliteal
behind the knee (hard to palpate)
posterior tibial
just behind the medial malleolus (inner ankle bone)
Dorsalis Pedis
On the top of the foot, near the first and second metatarsals
