PF Cinematography

A

Tarantino plays around with the positioning of the camera to try and maintain the fly on the wall feel.

The now famous trunk shot is featured within the opening few minutes of the film, when Vincent and Jules are getting ready to invade the apartment

Q

PF Aesthetics

A

The visuals can sometimes drift into the surreal, especially with Vincent’s drug use scenes. When Mira draws a square it is visualized for the audience.

During the scene where Vincent is driving to jack rabbit slims, the background outside the windows is deliberately made to look like an old back projection as both a callback to older films as well as highlight Vincent’s state of mind.
