The camera within the story of the apartment scene is fixed, as if the audience is watching the events unfold like a play in a theatre. A wide angled lens and deep focus give an exaggerated perspective to the room where figures appear in the foreground.

The scene where Lil Dice is shooting several people is from a low angle putting the audience in a position of weakness. The scene where lil Ze is taking over is from an omniscient gods eye view pulling the audience out of harms way.
