alveoli walls become weak and ruptured creating larger air spaces rather than multiple small spaces
pulm fibrosis
lung tissue is damaged or scarred
cystic fibrosis
causes severe damage to the lungs, digestive system. primarily affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat and digestive juices
muscular dystrophy
group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass
inpatient rehab programs
provides specialized care for hospitalized patients
