Lymphoma
What are some of the distinguishing features between a bronchogenic, an esophageal duplication and a neurenteric cyst?
Bronchogenic: round/spherical, thin capsule
Esophageal duplication: more tubular, thicker wall
Neurenteric: round-oval, lobulated, wall has neural/GI elements
What are the main manifestations of Goodpasture syndrome?
Pulmonary hemorrhage
Iron deficiency anemia
Glomerulonephritis
What are the main manifestations of cystic fibrosis?
Chest: bronchiectasis, centrilobular nodules with tree-in-bud
Liver: cirrhosis
Pancreas: pancreatic insufficiency
GIT: meconium ileus, meconium peritonitis, intussusception, rectal prolapse
Other: sinus pathology, male infertility, HPOA
What is the association between myasthenia gravis and thymoma?
50% of pts with MG have a thymoma.
10-20% of pts with a thymoma have MG
