Identifying:

What TIMING technique should be considered when conducting an Area Canvass and why?
Conduct the Area Canvass at the same time of day as the offense occurred.
This is because it may increase the chances of encountering witnesses who may frequent that area at the same time each day.

(1) the SCENE of the offence
(2) Site where EXHIBITS were found
(3) ACCESS and EGRESS routes

What’s the difference between PART A and PART B of the Area Canvass Questionnaire?
Part A records details about the address (who is at the address, vehicle, dwelling description)
Part B provides greater detail about the people at the dwelling. It also has questions to elicit information and potential evidence from the persons at the address
