What is provisional registration and what does it involve?
When you are accepted to enrol in a masters program, you need to apply for provisional registration (so then later you can apply to full registration).
You need:
- a check for criminal history
- international criminal history check if you’ve lived overseas for more than 6 months
- high school education overseas you will need english language test
Which postgrad pathways involve 6 years of study? and which involve 5 + 1

Registrar program for endorsement
after completing 2 years masters, you complete a registrar program to become endorsed
to get a specialist title, you do 2 years supervised practice in that subdiscipline

- Minimum WAM of 75 for Years 1-3
- Minimum WAM of 80 in year 4
What do you need for entry in a 5 + 1 pathway?
Minimum WAM of 65 for years 1-3
Minimum WAM of 75 in Year 4
What is the selection process like for masters?
- shortlisting based on a UAC application and supplementary form
- read referee reports
- check results, work experience, read motivational statements
- invite shortlisted people to attend a MMI (mini multiple interview)

- study honours
- cultivate 2 good referees (ideally academic and work)
- value your work experience
