Dress nicer- Halo effect due to Stewart who found over 2 years defenedant rated as more attractive was treated more leniently, therefore encourage defendants to take more care into bappearance e.g. by wearing nice clothes.
Confident witness- make witness appear confident, because Penrod and Cutlers mock trial, when witness was 100% sure she identified robber, guilty verdict by jury was 67% but dropped to 60% when witness was only 80% confident.
