Information sending; using electrical and chemical impulses to transmit information

anything beyond the brain and spinal cord.

The brain and spinal chord

What happens during the sympathetic response in the autonomic nervous system ?
Responds to danger or stress, activates to deliver more blood , speed up heart rate, and so on.
What happens during the parasympathetic response in the autonomic nervous system ?
Brings your body back down to a normal state
What is responsible for “flight/fight/freeze” ?
sympathetic response

decision making (cognitive behavior)
