it is very precise - can identify within mm
How can a fMRI scan be criticised?
not as fast as an EEG scan
What is a PET scan?
measures radioactive elements in the brain by a tracer which is injected into the bloodstream that can then be observed
Why is a PET scan useful?
allows us to study the chemistry of the brain and is a more precise method
How can a PET scan be criticised?
this has the lowest time resolution
