  • Sensory-motor stage (0-2 years) - reflexive, egocentric, object permanence
  • Pre-operations stage (2-7 years) - thought processes developing, symbolisation, egocentric, aninism, focus one aspect of situation at time.
  • Concrete operations (7-11 years) - more operational, rational, think several features object at time, reversibility.
  • Formal operations (11-16 years) - more adult like, rely more ideas, work thing out head, think more abstractly.
