  • Absent kidney (bilateral renal agenesis = Potter’s syndrome)
  • Multicystic dysplastic kidney (irregular cysts with no normal tissue)
  • Duplex (upper pole ureter tends to obstruct and is associated with ureterocoele, lower pole ureter tends to reflux)
  • Horseshow or pelvic kidney (abnormal caudal migration)
  • Obstruction
