A communication system that controls all parts of your body.
What is the nervous system made up of
Central Nervous System- Made up of your brain and spinal cord
Peripheral Nervous System- Made up of the nerves that send messages to and from the CNS to other parts of the body

What does the somatic nervous system do
Responsible for voluntary movements
such as that of the skeletal muscles.
what are also part of the somatic nervous system
The sense organs are part of the somatic nervous system.
The sensory organs are the mouth, skin, ears, eyes and nose. These organs have
receptor cells which detect changes in the environment.
The changes stimulate a message which is then sent to the brain for a response.
