involves direct manipulation of pleasure using products (legal/ illegal)
what is behavioural/ process addiction?
series of potentially pathological behaviours that expose individuals to mood altering events by which they achieve pleasure and become dependent (internet, gambling, sex, shopping, exercise, work)
what is a relapse in addiction?
recurrence of prior condition usually representing a negative connotation such as return of illness after improvement period
