Social psychology is the scientific study of the way in which people’s thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by individuals, groups, and society.
What is cognitive psychology?
Cognitive psychology is the scientific study of basic mental abilities: perception, learning, memory, language, problem-solving, etc. - how people think, learn, perceive, attend to and manage information.

The biopsychosocial model regards health as a combination of effects of biological processes, psychological processes and social factors.

Health compromising behaviours are any activity undertaken by people with a frequency or intensity that increases disease or injury. This includes sedentary behaviour/exercise, smoking, diet, alcohol, and low medication compliance.
What are health promoting behaviours?
Health promoting behaviours are behavioural tendencies that promote or sustain good health. This includes healthy eating, exercise, managing chronic conditions, and screening.
