Encourage:
1. Exercise + healthy eating
2. Work-life balance (with flexible hours)
3. Breaks/ holidays
Develop coping strategies:
1. Threat appraisal (challenge vs threat)
2. Prioritising tasks
3. Relaxation techniques
- Establish reasonable expectations/deadlines/workloads
- Encourage open communication between staff and management
- Provide support to employees
- Train managers to effectively recognise and reduce psychological injury
- Discourage harassment/bullying
