External Barriers to receiving treatment
Systemic obstacles
- Timely and costly
- Symptoms may interfere with ability to work so treatment may be an expensive they can currently afford
- Local health care may not offer the specialized treatment they required
- Hard to recover when system you live in resists that recovery

- Believes disorder may keep her on top of things therefore embracing it
