anorexia signs/symptoms
hypothermia, bradycardia (weight loss slows heart rate), hypotension, edema (vomit leaves fluid intrastitial spaces), metabolic changes (elec imbalance low sodium, low potassium), osteoporosis (low level calcium and vit D), dehydration
inadequate caloric intake symptoms
amenorrhea, cold hands/feet, constipation, dry skin and hair, difficult concentrate, irritability, delayed cap refill toes
bulemia define
episodic, uncontrolled, compulsive, rapid ingestion large quantities of food (binging) followed by purging which is self induced vomit, misuse laxatives, diuretics, vigorous exercise
