Step Wise Management of CHRONIC PLAQUE PSORIASIS
A
Potent Topical Steroid and Potent Vitamin D (one in the morning, one in the evening) 4 WEEKS
No improvement after 8 weeks: VITAMIN D ALONE TWICE DAILY
No Improvement after 8-12 weeks: Potent Topical Steroid for 4 weeks or Coal tar (Twice daily)
Short Acting Dithranol
UVB 3 times a week or PUVA
Systemic Mx:
Methotrexate
Systemic Retinoids
Biological Therapy

Scalp Psoriasis Management
A
Potent Topical Steroid once a day for 4 weeks
If no IMPROVEMENT:
Steroid in different formulation and topical salicylic acid (used before steroid)

Face Flexural and Genital Psoriasis Management
A
Mild/Moderate Topical steroid 1/2 times daily for 2 weeks.
