1. BSI, scene is safe
2. Open airway (head tilt, chin lift)
3. Insert OPA
4. Select mask, create proper seal
5. Deliver first ventilation w/in 30s of arrival
6. Ventilate every 5-6 seconds
7. W/in 30 seconds, connect reservoir and oxygen
8. Adjust to 15 LPM
9. Second EMT ventilates, you control mask and airway
10. Reopen airway, create proper seal
11. Tell assistant to resume ventilations, ensure chest rise
12. Instruct to ventilate every 5-6s, observe for 30s

1. Ensure chest rise
2. Don’t interrupt ventilations for >30s
3. Ventilate prior to connecting O2
4. Adequate ventilation volume
5. Allowed adequate exhalation
6. Completed w/in 5 minutes
