A

Visible Moisture Definition:

A
  • Visible moisture or precipitation in any form (such as fog with visibility of one mile or less, mist, rain, snow, sleet, ice crystals, or clouds in flight)
  • If visibile moisture is present below 400 ft AGL with OAT 10C or below activate cowl anti-ice for takeoff. If OAT 5C or below activate both cowl and wing anti-ice for takeoff.

  • OAT is 10C or below
