Ground Contamination Definition:
A
Runways, ramps, or taxiways with surface snow, ice, slush, or standing water.

Visible Moisture Definition:
A
- Visible moisture or precipitation in any form (such as fog with visibility of one mile or less, mist, rain, snow, sleet, ice crystals, or clouds in flight)
- If visibile moisture is present below 400 ft AGL with OAT 10C or below activate cowl anti-ice for takeoff. If OAT 5C or below activate both cowl and wing anti-ice for takeoff.

When both:
- Ground Contimation or Visible Moisture is present
- OAT is 10C or below

A
When Ground Contamination or Visible Moisture (below 400AGL) are present and:
- OAT of 10C or below, Cowls must be on
- OAT of 5C or below, Wings and Cowls must be on

While in:
- Visible Moisture
- From a TAT of 10C to SAT of -39C
Cowls must be on
Wings must be on when slower than 230 KIAS

Definition of Icing Conditions in Flight:
A
A TAT of 10 C or below, and visible moisture in any form is encountered (such as clouds, rain, snow, sleet, or ice-crystals), except when the SAT is -40 C or below.
