Carcinoid disease and rheumatic valve disease

Isolated pulmonic stenosis + Noonan syndrome + ToF + congenital rubella
What are long term sequelae of pulmonic stenosis?
RVH and eventual RV failure
What is the first line therapy for severe pulmonic stenosis?
Balloon valvuloplasty; if that fails, then surgery
What valves can be placed via transcatheter approach for pulmonic disease?
Melody valve, Sapien XT, Sapien 3, Harmony valve, Venus P valve, Alterra Adaptic Prestent
What is the most common cause of pulmonary regurgitation?
Congenital causes
What are acquired causes of pulmonic regurgitation?
S/p repair + carcinoid syndrome + endocarditis + prosthetic valve degradation + pulm HTN
