Q

What are proteins made up of

A

Proteins are made up of chains of molecules called amino acids. Each different protein has a particular number and order of amino acid

Q

What size the order of amino acids and protein

A

It’s the order of the base in the gene that size the order of the menial acid and protein

Q

What allows for unique protein

A

Each gene contains different sequence of bases which allows it to code for a unkeed protein

Q

What is done to make proteins

A

To make proteins Wrightson uses the coding the DNA. DNA is found in the nucleus and can’t be moved out because it is really big. Sincell needs to get the code from the DNA to horizon. This is done using molecule called our NA – which is made by copying the code for the DNA. The RNA accident messenger between the DNA and the rights and it carries code between the two.

Q

Switched on and switched off jeans

A

The jeans are switched on determine the function of the cell e.g. in a muscle cell only James and Katie muscle cell proteins are switched on. Gesic code for proteins specific to bone Nerval skin cells are switched off. This allows the muscle cells to function as… well and muscle cell
