What is Transcription
A
This is where a copy of the DNA is made, by an enzyme called DNA polymerase. The copy is called mRNA it is a single strand and it contains the opposite bases to the original DNA. And it doesn’t contain Thymine it used Urasil instead.

What is Translation
A
This occurs in the cytoplasm at organelles called ribosomes. The mRNA attaches to a ribosomes so that its code can be read. The code is read by tRNA carrying an amino acid that corresponds to the code. The amino acids are dropped of and start to bond together to form a polypeptide chain. The amino acids bond by a peptide bond.
