To a speedy public trial: Know that speedy hasn’t been defined(interpreted) by the S. Court
Against double jeopardy:
May not be tried again if jury acquitted the crime
Against double jeopardy: know the exceptions that we discussed
Execptions:
-may be tried again if the jury is dead locked
-may be tried at the STATE and FEDERAL level
-may be tried in TWO different states (Cali and Nevada)
-may face criminal and civil trail
Against cruel and unusual punishment
Does not include death penalty
-cannot be tortured or treated unfairly
