_____
4z3 everything in one parentheses and squared
9x4y2
_______
16z**6
Xminus3 / Xminus5= name the two ways
Relocate: xminus sth means that it is on the wrong side. It needs to get either up or down the fraction depending on where it is. X5/X3=X2
Quotient rule: X-3-(-5)=X**2
3xminus2 y3
____________
x**5
3y3
____ = 3y3/x7
x2 x**5
-2x5
____
x8
-2xminus3
________ = -2/x3

x0=
60=
3x0+7y0
squared with 0 is always 1. Why? 10/10=1 is technically 101/10/1, so when you divide and subtract the exponents you get 10**0 which is, as we know, =1
10! mind that 3 and seven have the exponents 1
Write in standard form:
- 45X10**6
- 68X10**minus4
move the point, right if positive exponent, left if negative, go how many steps the exponent says.
3,450,000. Fill left spots with zeros

(3.2X102)(1.6X104)=
5.12X10**6 # normal exponent rule but base stays the same because it is scientific notation
