What was Prometheus’ punishment? Why?
A
- He is chained to a mountain and an eagle with come and peck at his liver everyday
- He provided man-kind fire
- Got in between Zeus’ plan to kill mankind

What is the story of Io?
A
- Daughter of Ianchus
- Zeus falls in love with her and requests Hermes’ help to get Io alone
- Forces himself upon Io
- Hera becomes suspicious
- To avoid Hera’s anger, turns Io into a cow
- Hera sees the cow and figures out what is happening
- Hera gets Argus (monster with hundred eyes) to watch over Io
- Hermes, upon the request of Zeus puts Argus to sleep and kills him
- Io runs away, however Hera drives fear in her and compels her to throw herself into the sea
- Io crosses the oceans and reaches Egypt where she is given the position of Isis by Zeus due to her struggles
- Io gives birth to Epaphus, a child of Zeus
