How does an assessor score properly?
Do not cherry-pick data
Be considerate when giving out M(really bad connotation)
Use discretion about clinically significant details vs. Careless mistakes
Do not give special score based on mistakes
How can an assessor be incompetent and unethical? Does that happen often?
It does happen often.
If they claim they know for something “for sure” about a person based on their responses. Without thinking of other reasons.
If they give scores that will significantly impact person’s test result(Minus, special scores) without careful consideration

- Intellectualization defense mechanism if the assessee uses “you” a lot during assessment
- Mirror as narc,
- Two same objects as narc
- Food as emotional need
- 3-D as Form depth
- Spider/ Octopus/fish as over encroaching mother

- Impulsivity with response styles
- Bpd and schizophrenia see x-rays
- Animals as common thinking
- Have trouble seeing colors as emotionally out of touch

- Does not use the official scoring system. But uses his own “normalized data”- trends and patterns from clients
- Doesn’t “over-psychoanalyze” every detail
- Ues convergent evidence- doesn’t infer about the person with one card, even whole deck of card

What can you tell about a person from their TAT assessment
conflict resolution, thought process, problem-solving, memory retainment, planning ahead, emotional intelligence, environment perception
What type of containment in short-term psychodynamic therapy is most important?
Object-relations. As a “transference” relationship, therapist supposed to model containment for the client.
