Do - Perform the work according to plan

Check - Monitor the work to ensure it is being done according to the plan

Act - Make adjustments if the work is not following the plan or continue the work if it is being executed according to the plan

Name project documents and their propose

A
  • Project Charter: Formal authorization of the project by the Project Sponsor. The charter can be seen as the “Law” and the Project Manager as the “Sheriff”
  • Project Scope Statement: Details about what work has to be done, and what deliverables are to be produced
  • Work Breakdown Structure: The subdivisions of major project tasks into smaller components called work packages
  • Project Management Plan: A formal, approved document that defines how the project is executed, monitored, and controlled. An integration of individual plans such as quality and resource plans
