A
- Adamantane and neuraminidase inhibitors (not approved for use in animals in the US)
- Cephalosporins (except cephapirin)
- Gentian violet
- Phenylbutazone
- Sulfonamide

Cephalosporins labeled drug use
A
- In Major Food animals (Cattle, pigs, chickens, and turkeys) only for therapeutic indications that are not included on the product label
- ELDU is prohibited in all of the following: i
- Change in approved dose, treatment duration, frequency or administration route
- Intended use of a product in an unapproved major species
- Intended use of the product for the purpose of disease prevention

Sulfonamide antibiotics

- ELDU of all sulfonamides is prohibited in adult lactating dairy cattle or dairy cattle greater than 20 months of age
- Only labeled uses of approved sulfonamides are allowed
