Start with legs crossed
Bring arms up with wrists together and palms up
Use momentum by swinging head with the arms in order to get body to roll over

Keep arms across body not head
Weight shifting while supine on elbows may require
Flexibility and weight training
What does supine on elbow press ups and weight shifts do?
Stretch anterior chest and train serratus anterior and lats
How does one with C6 manage the LEs?
Start on mat with shoes off to decrease challenge, use wrist extensors to move extremities
To manage the lower extremities, what is necessary (bed)
At least a Queen sized bed to have enough room to move
What does prone press ups do?
Strengthens serratus anterior and stretches hip flexors
How does one progress prone press ups?
Progress to press ups with reaching
How does one do scapular strengthening in sidelying?
PNF protraction and retraction with hands for resistance
Instruct sidelying to long sitting (w/o triceps)
Walk hands/ upper body towards legs
Hook arm under leg and use bicep to hold self up momentarily to lock out the other arm behind you
Then weight shift onto that arm and throw the other arm back to lock it out as well
