The Business case describes the intent and authority behind the drivers of the program and underlying philosophy of the business need.
what does the business case declare?
Serves as the formal declaration of the value that the program is expected to deliver and a justification for the resources that will be expended to deliver it.
what is the purpose of the program charter?
To formally express the organinzations vision, mission, and benefits expected to be produced by the program. defines the specific goals and objectives in alignment with the organizations strategic plan and business case. provides the Program Manager with the authority.
What is the purpose of a program roadmap?
A chronological representation of a program’s intended direction, graphically depicting dependencies between major milestones and decision points - reflects the linkage between the business strategy and the program work.
what is the difference between a schedule and a road map?
a road map outline major events for the purposes of planning and the development of more detailed schedules.
What are environmental assessments?
internal and external influences to the program that have a significant impact on a program;s success.
